I'm the second or third (can't remember) strongest in my group with 25k and the strongest has 27k. I have never faced someone with less than 45k power. Unless you're in a server where the top players aren't insanely stronger than the rest, you can't do anything. My biggest gripe is that there literally is no chance for most, if any, convoy-er's (is that even a word? lol) to defend themselves. Giving up those free coupons for the sake of others is pretty noble. This post was last edited by Ryukashin at 03:26įirst, I'd like to say that it's good to see people that aren't taking advantage of plunder. This should suffice for an initial submisssion. I'm sure there are several other improvements that could be made. Another solution would be to remove the ability to attack convoy players in the area inside of and just outside of Konoha. This would also serve to help the 1 attack per run change mentioned earlier. ![]() Plunder should only be able to be performed from the plunder commissioner in the group ba se, just like is required for convoy. This feature needs to be removed altogether. depending on player level.ĥ) Many high level players have adopted the strategy of just standing inside or just outside Konoha and attacked people as they appear. I frequently see two different S ranked convoys where one offers 120k gold while the other offers only 87k gold. The other side of this (less desirably) is to limit plunder to only 1 SS plunder per day.ģ) SS rewards should be more balanced, either both parties earn the same amount of coupons for a successful SS run, or plunder should only earn the coupons they steal from the convoy (which should be raised to 50 in this case, SS convoy 50, SS plunder 25.)Ĥ) I don't know if its ba sed on distance to travel, but there should be less of a dispairity between S ranked convoy and below. You may still have the player need to run to the destination, but players can only be attacked once per run regardless.Ģ) If plunder is able to perform 3 SS attacks per day, then convoy should be allowed to run all 4 SS missions if they are able, without the requirement of spending ingots to do so. If you successfully defended you get your 30 coupons for an SS run or money for other runs, if defeated you get half the reward. As much as I like the opportunity to recieve 150 coupons every day, this needs to be reworked in several ways:ġ) Convoys are performed in the same way as before the 2.0 update, once attacked the run is over regardless of outcome. ![]() Where is the balance in this game mode, obviously if you are at the top 10 you are only going to plunder SS convoys for your free 150 coupons per day. However, Plunder can attack 3 SS ranked people for 50 coupons per win. You can be attacked multiple times (even by the same person) during a convoy until the first loss. Convoy is only allowed to do 1 SS ranked mission per day for 30 coupons, a loss rewarding only half. ![]() I wanted to express my dislike and the gap between convoy and plunder rewards. ![]() Why should you buy this: Dipstick Vapes’ sleekly designed Dipper is more than just a vape pen The best-designed: Dipper Image used with permission by copyright holder You’ll also get a dab tool and a silicone concentrate container too, which is always useful. While we generally found the hits to be noticeably less smooth than the Elite, the ease of use and coil options are great. You also get three different atomizers versus the Elite’s two, all with quartz dishes: one with dual quartz rods, another with dual ceramic rods, and finally a ceramic halo heater. The Aurora Kit comes with an desk magnetic charger that you only need to lay the device in. One of our biggest gripes with the Kandypens Elite is the fact that you need to unscrew the battery then attach it to a USB dongle whenever you want to recharge. The mouthpiece (it comes with two: a traditional rounded one and a fluted version) isn’t magnetic, but is nonetheless easily removable and interchangeable. You can literally switch between coils within seconds. Instead of threaded pieces that screw together, everything on this rig is magnetic. For those looking for a solid place to start, the Aurora is as simple as it gets. Why should you buy this: The Aurora kit gives you everything you need to get startedĭabbing can be a little intimidating for even the seasoned cannabis user: it really is a totally different world. Dabber Aurora Image used with permission by copyright holder One word of caution though: we’ve found with extended use that the coils do lose performance over time and/or stop working, so expect to have to replace the coils about once a year to keep your Elite working well. To date, we haven’t found another traditional pen this year that offers similar performance, so the Elite still sits at the top of the list. ![]() The four-level heating options allowed us to dial in our experience to find the sweet spot, which can differ based on the concentrate type and even the experience you’re after. We were also very pleased with battery life, which was above average when compared to other concentrate pens. Whereas we experienced harsh hits with many of the pens we tried, the Elite (and the ceramic coil especially) was smooth as butter. Vapor production is superb, especially with the quartz atomizer, and four different heat settings make very efficient use of concentrate and wax. The Elite ships with two different coils, one ceramic-lined with a ceramic plate heater at the bottom, and the other one quartz-lined with dual quartz rods. Now nearly two years old, it’s about $80 cheaper, and that is too good of a deal to pass up. It also came with an equally top-of-the-line price at $140, though. When the Elite debuted in 2017, it was one of KandyPens’ top-of-the-line pens. Who’s it for: Concentrate connoisseurs looking for discreteness and power Why should you buy this: Consistent performance and a recent price cut keeps last year’s top pick at the top. While at-home machines are super convenient, it can be hard to justify such a large purchase.įortunately, instant espresso allows you to get the same dark roast coffee flavor without the expensive gadgetry in your home. If you’ve paid attention to espresso machines before, you know they can be pretty expensive and somewhat complicated to operate. Otherwise, you better take up a baking hobby so you can use the powder as often as you brew your coffee. That said, a little goes a long way, so if you’re drinking espresso regularly, you don’t want to keep making the powder each time. If you’re already brewing espresso coffee, you can save those coffee grounds, bake them in the oven, and then crush them into a fine powder. So, bakers love using this powder to add a kick to anything chocolatey, such as cookies, brownies, cakes, and more.Īnother benefit of espresso powder is that you can make it at home. ![]() Generally start by drilling two holes in the floor. BE MINDFULL of clearing your shifter, factory ebrake, seat, steering wheel, etc when installing.īending and cutting the 3/16” hard line is also another part you will need to freestyle, depending on where your handbrake is. Figure out the best way for you, weather it be drilling into the transmission tunnel, or welding a plate to mount it on. For me the easiest way was to place the front mount on one of the AKG baseplate bolts, and using a bracket to come off of the rear baseplate bolt. This is going to be different between everyone depending on if you will be using your center console, what shifter you are using, etc. All we are doing here is cutting the 3/16” line that runs underneath the driver side of the car, plumbing a line to the inlet of the hydro handbrake, and plumbing a line from the hydro handbrake, back to the line underneath the car.įirst we need to mount the hydro handbrake. This application of a Hydro handbrake will put the handbrake in line with the rear brakes. locks up the rear nicely with hawk rear pads on stock s13 brakes.Okay lets get started. So i replaced the whole rear brake hardline from the master to the passenger side of the engine bay. Now i have it replacing the stock location and have made a new handle for itĪnd this season i changed up the handle a bit i ordered the straight handle but they sent me the wrong one so on my old car i just made a new handle. Here is the bracket i made and you can see the hardlines going to the brake. Then i ran the other side of the brake to my passenger firewall where it enters the engine bay again and routes to the rear brake block bolted to my frame rail. i want to redo this part with a proper AN setup to bolt onto the fire wall. I started with a line from my master cyl through my firewall, then a junctions inside the car. With this i had to make a bracket to mount it on, and run some lines that i bent. I bought it off of some random rock climbing site i found on google. This thread could be a nice collection of info! If I could do it all over again I would have bought that and this right from the beginning and been done w it in an hour You will also need to find a spot to mount the new brake which will require some fabrication (welding a base at minimum) unless you remove your stock ebrake and buy this I haven't gotten it yet but I've heard they're good/quality parts. You will save yourself a major fucking headache.I probably spent 125 in gas driving around looking for the right hardware before I just broke down and ordered the install kit. If you CAN make your own lines then order the hardware kit from ASD shogunner just posted up a link to it.ĭef buy one or the other. If you can't bend/flare brake lines then just spend the 125 bucks and buy the install kit from enjuku (make sure you tell them it's for an s13, apparently the braided lines are dif sizes for s13/14). Tight from the kat Mani? WTF does that mean? You would re-route the rear brake line to run from the stock master to the hand brake master then from hand brake master to the tee block by your passenger rear brake (where the one rear brake line splits into two). Yes leave your stock brake cables on, unless you plan to remove your stock ebrake. what are the basics of it do you still run the e brake cables? what if my mc only has 2 ports and its already tight from the kat mani? what other parts do i need if i buy a k sport ebrake? I wanna do this mod on my s13 but have some questions. With a dual caliper setup you shouldnt have any issues at all bleeding. You should REALLY look into upgrading the pads. Has anyone else had these same feelings or is my set up lacking something that im overlooking. I feel like i paid a buch of cash to have a lower grade ebrake that requires a big ol goofy handle to work properly. I can see that with a long enough handle you can produce enough leverage to feel like its locking them up easy but thats all leverage. ![]() I thought a hydro was intended to be an updrade in locking power and make it easier to lock up the rear. ![]() The only way i can get it to lock up was extending the handle and even then its like 10x harder to lock up than with the stock z32 ebrake system. Im running a dual caliper set up with a ksport hydro (3/4 bore MC), -3An lines, with Z32 calipers, and new autozone cheapo pads. Is there anyone who is running a stock length handle with the hydro in the stock position? I tried and its impossible. I have a question for everyone with hydros. ![]() All these old hippies cared about was profit.īut the suggestion from one then-young organiser was that someone should have taken a closer look at the lineup seems misplaced. He and others had little appreciation of the rage that would be unleashed from the main stage. Bands were booked based on their popularity alone, seemingly without chief organiser Michael Lang listening to any of their music - you’d think he’d pick a whole different set of headliners if he really wanted to promote peace and love. In true hippie fashion, however, the festival was organised by people with very little understanding of the material and affective conditions of the new present. ![]() On the whole, the documentary spends a lot of time focussing on the naivety of the festival’s original organisers, who supposedly hoped to rekindle the “Peace, Love and Understanding” of Woodstock’s near-mythological 1969 event. Jonathan Davis from Korn is perhaps the only nu-metal band member to offer their reflections instead we hear from Jewel and the lead singer of Bush (who, I must admit, I don’t remember at all and who hardly seem representative of that cultural moment). But the silence from many of those directly involved is deafening. How each group remembers the event is telling. The Woodstock ’99 documentary is made up of interviews with organisers, attendees, press, and some musicians (but far fewer than you’d expect). Nu-metal is still fascinating for this reason, even if some of it hasn’t aged too well, precisely because it had a peculiar and quintessentially American melting-pot vibe, crossing lines between pop punk, hip hop, metal, grunge, drum ‘n’ bass… Just about every new music genre of the last two decades was thrown into its particle accelerator, giving rise to a mutant amalgam of sounds as the heat was turned up on popular culture by the anxiety of an unknowable future beyond Y2K. It was a truly postmodern music genre in that regard, with different styles (and even emotional responses) able to exist together, seemingly without tension, making it a genre that seemingly had something for everyone. (My babysitter - my best friend’s old sister - who I can barely imagine as a grungy nu-metal kid now, later played me Limp Bizkit on my parent’s hi-fi, and from that moment I was obsessed with them until at least 2004, when nu-metal was overtaken in the popular consciousness, in the UK at least, by a disparate mix of indie, grime, freak folk and dubstep.)īut around the turn of the millennium, prior to this subcultural fragmentation, it is undeniable that nu-metal captured the zeitgeist and imagination of multiple, interlaced generations and demographics. Everyone liked it, everyone listened to it, no matter their background or usual tastes. The rage on display was like a sonic peepshow: transgressive, taboo and perverse, but still abundantly accessible to anyone with a bit of pocket money. My own first encounter with that sound, for instance, was in the playground at primary school, as everyone gathered round one kid’s Walkman to take turns listening to the sounds emanating from their tinny headphones. Though I was admittedly quite young in 1999, I have no memory of an “In Bloom” of the nu-metal era, pouring scorn on a frat boy rage slowly gentrifying the discontent of the social underdog. Mainstream success, of course, trumped tribal allegiances at that time. ![]() The video’s inspired focus on the crowd, moshing out in an oddly clinical and affectless space, reveals their fans to be a racially diverse mix of bedroom-dwelling suburban metal kids and social outcasts kids who would no doubt be actively bullied by the Woodstock frat contingents.īut nu-metal was so huge that its energies were taken up by many different social groups. In the documentary, much of the blame for the rioting that closed out the festival, and the crimes reported throughout its duration, is placed on the shoulders of American frat boys, who bought into the fury of a subculture that I would hardly associated with preppy kids who managed to go to college.Ī year later, the video for Papa Roach’s 2000 hit single “Last Resort” offered a more accurate view - to my mind, anyway - of who this music was most associated with. The nu-metal moment was bizarre in its promiscuity. It was a pivotal cultural moment for me growing up, as a nu-metal kid, the energy from which was dissolved with a frightening speed. Limp Bizkit’s performance of “Break Stuff”, and all the horror stories that emerged from the crowd, are seared into my memory from that time. Discussing it with some friends the other day, some of whom are only a few years younger than me, I was amazed they’d never heard about it before watching the mini-series for themselves. ![]() The new fascination with Woodstock ’99, following the release of a new Netflix documentary series, is so surreal to me. ![]() By using the same material found in seamless siding, each seamless gutter is installed in either a matching or complementing color.
