![]() ![]() This is actually a surprisingly common occurrence - saying something snarky to an EA employee basically guarantees you're gonna get bought two or three months.Īnd that illustrates the problem even further - as others have pointed out in this thread, not only does the upvote/downvote system squash actual free speech in favor of ideological bubbles, but it and the gilding system also ensure that content is endlessly repetitive, as people do the same thing they saw someone else do that was received positively so they can get free "karma" or get someone to spend actual money on them. On top of that, Reddit users have the ability to "gild" each other for posts or comments that they make, which is to say that you liked someone's content so much that you sent them a month of Reddit Gold for it, and they get a little note that you did and what they did it for. I honestly don't actually know what it does because I've never had it. Barbie is an anti-men, feminazi, liberal, anti-conservative hit-piece and Oppenheimer is an anti-american and pro. ![]() Both of these movies ooze wokeness it makes me sick. Now if you want to talk about pigments, then yeah, you'd eventually end up with some kind of shit looking brown and eventually black if you kept adding more to the mess. Im writing this as I have just learnt that Barbie has crossed the 1 Billion dollar line and Oppenheimer has crossed the 500 million dollar threshold. In terms of light, black is the absence of light and thus color. You can be a moderator of r/gaming, but all this means is that you're doing volunteer work for the community there, and it grants you no powers in any other subreddit, whereas Reddit admins are just company employees that can do whatever they want with any part of the site.Īs for revenue streams, it's true that Reddit depends on ad revenue, which is why they hunted down and instantly squashed private celebrity content leaks (which is good, don't get me wrong) but for some reason can't manage to do the same thing with hate groups - but Reddit also gets a significant amount of revenue out of Reddit Gold, an extra suite of services for your account. Well considering that a rainbow is made up of reflected light, no you'd get white. Reddit's heirarchy works differently from a typical Internet forum - administrators are actual employees of the company who handle the entire site as a whole, but moderators rule on a per-subreddit basis. Reddit admins are actually paid for their work, moderators are not.
